Languages

This is currently taught in  Peacock, Golden Eagle and Kingfisher classes (i.e. Y3-Y6 children).
There are four attainment targets for teaching foreign languages:

• Listening and responding
• Speaking
• Reading and responding
• Writing

We also develop intercultural understanding comparing and contrasting different languages and cultures.

Each term, the children practise short sentences in French - this term, the cafe!
