Our most recent visit by OfSTED was in March 2019.  We were very disappointed to be judged as Requiring Improvement to be good, especially despite our early years and personal development and welfare of children being judged as good.  However they did recognise that:
“Governors and leaders have a shared ambition for pupils to succeed. They are reflective, and have the capacity to help the school improve further.”

Our Post OfSTED school improvement plan details how we will ensure we are good again at our next full inspection in two years time.

The SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) graded us as a good school overall, with some outstanding features. They said:

“The headteacher is committed to developing the school as a church school. He leads by example, and the whole staff commitment to embedding the school’s Christian ethos nurtures the well-being of the whole child. Christian values … underpin the beliefs, behaviours and attitudes of staff and pupils. Pupils’ behaviour both in classrooms and around the school is positive and mutually respectful.”
